Hello everyone!
It’s so hot these days so I hope you are all finding a way to stay cool!
Today we went to the beach again and continued our balance practice.
First, we talked about core muscles and jogged while flexing our core muscles and abs.
This will help build the muscles that help us keep our balance.
Afterwards, we took out paddles and practiced keeping our balance while paddling.
We worked on our paddling form to make sure we can get the most out of each stroke.
I walked around giving each child a shove to see if they were keeping their balance.
Then finally, we got onto the board as pairs and paddled out to the ocean and u-turned back to the beach.
Each group did a great job and was able to paddles successfully.
