Hello everyone and Happy New Year!!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful winter vacation with lots of rest and yummy food.
Today we went to the farm and did some Spring cabbage planting. First, we took a look at our winter cabbage to see how well they were growing. We also checked the garlic shoots to see how much they have grown. Obviously, it is too early to pick garlic so we will wait until Spring.
We also found some visitors. So we put them into the forest.
Next we planted Spring cabbage. Between plants we once again planted garlic which will help repel bugs and also be ready to pick in the late Spring.
Finally we picked cabbages from those we planted in Autumn.
Then back at tidepool, we made 2016 calendars and played a game of hangman to practice the alphabet and reading.
