It was a lovely day today and we had lots of fun!
Today we made bath salts with orange peels and lemon grass. For a few weeks we have been saving and drying orange peels.
First, we mixed orange peels, epsom salt, lemon grass, and a little orange essential oil. Then, using a blender we ground everything down to a fine powder.
Each child was able to bring these home for a Xmas present. It can be used directly into your bath tub or put into a mesh sack and placed in the tub.
Afterwards, we completed a Christmas reading and discussion worksheet and played a few games; Go Fish and Pictionary.
